The beginning

Dewan and Associates was established in 1983 by Prabhakar Dewan with a clear purpose: to give businesses dependable financial guidance grounded in accuracy, integrity and personal accountability. Beginning as a family-led advisory practice, the firm earned trust by treating every engagement as a long-term responsibility rather than a short-term assignment. That founding principle continues to shape the organisation today.
Over more than four decades, the firm has worked alongside entrepreneurs, family enterprises, investors, financial institutions and international businesses through changing economic cycles and increasingly complex regulatory environments. Its capabilities have expanded from traditional accounting and financial advisory into cross-border investment structuring, fundraising support, regulatory compliance and independent valuation.
